2 Updating Formative Checks in CIIPs

Be sure that indicator directly relates to the performance objective/goal listed. Must have – Objective that will address the area of focus and needs assessment followed by a connecting word such as “by”, “through”, etc and then strategy/strategies to reach that goal/objective. How will you check/monitor progress towards your goal? The measureable criteria (how you will measure success), has been moved to the beginning after target areas. The timeline has been combined with the responsible person to make room for the formative check points. You can use any available data to measure progress towards your summative goal and you can adjust the months to meet your needs. In the past we have discouraged benchmarks, lesson plans, walk through as a summative measure of progress. Now you can use those in the formative column to monitor progress. Click on edit document in WORD

4 Click on the dot in the table and choose one of these üá for Exceeded Expectations ü for Met Expectations û Did Not Meet Expectations

5 Be sure to save by clicking the save button with the refresh symbol
You might want to save a copy just in case When changes are made it will send an alert (to BranDe) We will review it and we will reach out to you if we have any questions

6 Follow these same steps to update or edit the content of your plan.
Please BranDe & Terri directly and include specifics about what has changed in your plan.

7 Composition of your CIC should follow the guidelines set in BQB legal/local
DON’T FORGET Remember to turn in your CIC signature page when you turn in your CIIP. Your committee must have 2 classroom teachers for every one nonteaching district and campus level staff. This includes (BQ Local) At least two parents of students currently enrolled within the district who are not employees At least two community members that reside within the district who are not parents At least two business representatives (these do not have to reside or operate a business within the district) Missing 21 signature pages from the school year and 45 of those turned in are missing one or more of the above representatives.
