2 WHY WAS THERE LITTLE OPPOSITION?
The Nazis faced relatively little opposition during their twelve years under Hitler’s command. Germans complained about the regime and serious criticism was always made in private. ALL THE NAZIS’ MAIN OPPONENTS WERE KILLED, EXILED OR PUT IN PRISON.

5 Many Germans admired and trusted Hitler. Thanks to Hitler:
Economic recovery was deeply appreciated. Many felt that the Nazis were bringing some much needed discipline back to Germany. Between 1933 and 1938 Hitler’s success in foreign affairs made Germans feel that their country was a great power.

6 Economic fears German workers feared losing their jobs if they expressed there opposed opinions.

7 These are people who were unemployed because they didn’t have the same ideas as Hitler.

10 Germans found very little propaganda about the bad things that were happening.
Propanganda was important in maintaining Hitler’s image.

11 THE JULY BOMB PLOT In 1944 it was known that Germany would lose the war. On 20 July, the coronel Count non Staffenberg left a bomb in Hitler’s conference room, his plan was to kill Hitler. Finally, it failed and the Nazis took a terrible revenge.

13 The relationship between the Church and the Nazis was complicated
The relationship between the Church and the Nazis was complicated. Hitler signed a contract that said that he would leave the Catholic Church alone and allowed them to keep control of their schools. Hitler tried to get all of the Protestant churches to come together and create one official Reich Church.

14 The problem between Hitler and the church was that Hitler wanted to eliminate jews, which the church would obvoiusly not allow, so there were arguements and fears from both parts.
