Move to request Stuart J. Kerry, Chair of IEEE to send the letter in 04/160r6 to Harald Alvastrand IETF Chair, with copies to the IAB and the IESG, Requesting publication of the “EAP Method Requirements for Wireless LANs” as an IETF Informational RFC.

Update: CAPWAP WG IETF WG formed 1Q04, Control And Provisioning of Wireless Access Points WG Website: IETF Request –Need for AP Functional Definition Motion to form IEEE AP Functional Description Study Group approved May04, re-affirmed July04, now to Excom for approval IETF Request for IEEE Review of CAPWAP Taxonomy Document IEEE Chair’s Ad-Hoc Committee Formed Mar 04 Motion passed to forward 04/473r3 to Bert Wijnen as IEEE WG response to document review request Draft 3 of Taxonomy document incorporates comments.
