1 Electropolymerizable Dendrons in Reversible Addition Fragmentation Chain-Transfer (RAFT) Polymerizations: Electrochemical Behavior and Macromolecular Assemblies. Rigoberto C. Advincula, Ph.D. Department of Chemistry, University of Houston A new series of electropolymerizable dendritic-linear block copolymers based on the combination of polybenzylether dendrons and linear polymers prepared by RAFT or grafting with pre-existing polymers has been reported. The morphologies, solution self-assembly, monolayer formation, and electro-optical properties were investigated. In particular, the ability to combine self-assembly and electropolymerizability has led to new electrochemical methodologies for polymer thin film processing and the formation of nano-objects. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2007, 129, Macromolecules, 2008, 41, 6703–6713
