We walk in a sensible line to our Forest School

4. Our activity – bug houses
We explore a different area to find some elder. When elder is cut more stems grow up from the cut

5. We set up our boundary flags. We have to stay inside them

We pass around the elder – is there a smell, what does it feel like, is it soft or hard?

Everybody is told how to use a potato peeler. We start taking the bark off the elder
