About Me: Hello! My name is Anika Days. I am happily married to Ronald Days. We have three amazing children: Arianna (9th grade), Aaliyah (4th grade), and Noah (1st grade). In addition to my own personal children, I will have the honor of having your child in my classroom family as well.
Education: I graduated from University of Florida with a degree in Special Education. I have also graduated from Walden University, where I earned my Master’s degree in Leadership. This is my twelfth year teaching in Lake County. I am ESOL endorsed and have attended numerous workshops to enhance my teaching and improve student achievement each year.
My mission: In my classroom I strive to maintain a safe, caring, and accepting place where all children feel successful. I have rules and procedures which help me do so. I expect all children to follow the established rules and procedures. I set high expectations for EVERY child and find the way in which they learn best. My discipline plan is positive, fair and child-centered. It is designed to hold children accountable for their actions. More information about our classroom procedures will be distributed during Open House on 8/23.
