Materials needed on a daily basis:
RED 3-ring binder divided into four sections: Vocab, Grammar, Literature, Writing
Loose leaf paper
Two pencils (at least) in a zipper pouch
Agenda book
Procedures:
Daily homework assignments
Long-term projects
Grading—Percentage points for a grade. Students are permitted to take home most assessments, with the exception of district tests.
No extra credit! Points can be earned for correcting assignments that fall below a “C”

A variety of assessments each marking period, ranging in difficulty level
Take-home and in-class essays, one paragraph building to essays of multiple pages
PSSA ELA Test in April
District Cumulative ELA exam in June:
