2 Our achievements for the time being

3 The 1st 50% tranche is fully spent

4 10,000 Euro went to the English course provider

5 ≈ 25,000 Euro are spent on the 1st lot of equipment after compulsory tendering procedures “best value for money”

7 By the end of 2018 we had almost fully met the requirements of the Agency in terms of finance. Project staff remuneration had been suspended.

18 Are the national and regional authorities interested
Are the national and regional authorities interested? Extract from PIMB’s December 2018 report to NEO: “There is no documentary evidence to prove that the project had an impact on national or regional policies in higher education. There is no documentary evidence to prove that the project contributed to the establishment or further development of new external bodies or regulatory frameworks.”

19 The role of the national authorities: Issuing permits; exercising overall control; making sure the project complies with the national law and caters for the public benefit. No facts to affirm that the project is backed up or acclaimed at this level

20 Interest and support at the institutional level due to growing awareness of the project benefits: staff mobility; acquisition of advanced equipment; getting the project remuneration; attracting new students via creating a positive HEI image

21 Feedback from employers and stakeholders External stakeholders are national entities operating in different fields of industry and services that are definitely interested in employing skilled specialists with a high level of ICT proficiency.

18 entities have confirmed their intention to admit our “Management with IT Specialization” students for passing the internship. The list is approved, signed and stamped by the Rector of our institution.

24 Applications for employment of “Management with IT Specialization” students
This slide shows the applications of just 4 out of 18 organizations which require a certain quantity of our project specialty students for further employment. The first one applied for 10 managers with ICT specialization, the second one applied for 30 specialists, then 3 and 7 people. The document is also approved, signed and stamped by the Rector of PIMB.

25 Before we have prepared and provided them with qualified managers with ICT skills, the employers’ role in the project is rather inactive.

26 The project finance is raised from 2 sources: 1) The EACEA co-financing and 2) BY HEI’s own co-financing. No stakeholders support the project financially or logistically. No financial obligations no reporting
