1 MATH READING All this week, we will continue with Halloween-themed books and activities, and learning about nocturnal animals. We are heading towards the final stages of our phonics skills and accompanying decodable readers. We also continue developing our knowledge and usage of non-fiction text features. Friday tests: Spelling, list 11 Nouns in writing This week we will review tens and ones, the meaning of the equal sign, and reading time on an analogue and digital clock to the hour and half hour. I will introduce how to add multiples of ten to a two-digit number. Friday tests: Determine if an equation is true or false (the importance of the equal sign. Telling time to the hour and half hour. Homework: Practice your spelling words at home. Please look out for a dated practice page. Not everyone will get one every day. If it is in your folder with your name written on it, you need to write them. Have your parent sign your journal. Read MobyMax STORIES for 60 minutes. Work on IXL math for mastery. A.2, A.4, A.5, A.8, A.11, A.21, A22, G These are the same skills as last week. Wednesday is our candy exchange and Halloween craft.
