2. HAMZA IBN ABDUL-MUTTALIB
Hamza Ibn Abdul Muttalib (RA) was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia and died in Hejaz, Saudi Arabia. He was from the tribe of Qurashy . He was the younger brother of Prophet Muhammad's father.

3. FACTS ABOUT HAMZA IBN ABDUL AL MUTTALIB (RA)
- Hamza (RA) was Prophet Muhammad's uncle. -Hamza (RA) kunya i.e. nicknames were Abu Umara and Abu Yaala and Lion of God - He was 2 or 4 years older than the Prophet (SAW) - Hamza (RA) and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) treated each other with respect. -He was a very handsome and strong man -He was the Prophet's protector.

4. HOW HAMZA (R.A.) GOT THE NAME THE LION OF ALLAH
One day after Hamza (R.A) came back from hunting two girls came to him and said "Abu Jahal threw dust on the prophet's head "Hamza (R.A.) was very angry so he jumped on his horse and ran to Abu Jahal.. Hamza (R.A.) jumped off his horse and pointed his arrow at Abu Jahal and shouted "why did you hurt Muhamed (pbuh) ". Hamza (R.A.) was in tears and he struck Abu Jahal head with a blow that cut open his head. Abu Jahal realised he had insulted the prophet (SAW) and escaped quickly . After that Hamza took his shada and became muslim. While fighting at the battle of Uhud, Hamza stood in front of the Prophet (SAW), fighting with his two swords and kept on shouting "I am Allah's lion" and he had an ostrich feather in his turban.

5. HAMZA'S LIFE AS A MUSLIM
Hamza (RA) moved to Medina in The Prophet (SAW) made him the brother in Islam of Zayd ibn Harithah. Hamza (RA) married three times and had six children. One day he asked Prophet Mohammad to show him the angel Jibreel in his true form. But Prophet Mohammad told him that he would not be able to see him. Hamza insisted and Prophet Mohammad asked him to stay where he was and it is claimed that Angle Jibreel come down from the heavens and when Hamza just saw his feet which was like emeralds he fainted. People were scared of Hamza (RA) because he was a strong man . When Hamza (RA) accepted Islam, it brought comfort and a lot of peace to the Prophet (SAW). Hamza's (RA) accepting Islam as a member of his family also made him very happy.

6. HAMZA's (RA) MILITARY LIFE
-Hamza's (RA) first raid was against the Qurashy when the Prophet (SAW) sent him to go and attack the caravan coming from Syria that was led by Abu Jahl. But they did not fight because a man by the name Majdi Al Juhani stopped them. -Hamza then fought in the Battle of Badr and that is when he killed Hind's father and also her brother died. The muslims won the battle. -Hamza also took part and carried the flag of Muhammad (SAW) at the fight against Banu Qaynuqa. Hamza fought in the battle of Uhud where alot of muslims were killed and they lost the war.

7. HOW HAMZA DIED
There was this lady called Hind .She hated Hamza because he had killed her father at the battle of Badr. So one day she told this slave, Wahshi ibn Harb, ''I will free you if you kill Hamza'' so the slave went to look for Hamza (RA) in the battle of Uhud. When the slave found Hamza (RA) he shot an arow at him and Hamza (RA) died right on the spot. Wahshi then slit open Hamza's stomach and removed his liver and took it to Hinda. Hinda chewed on the liver then spat it out. Hind then went looking for Hamza (RA)'s body and when she found him, she RIPPED his chest open , and cut up his body and made necklesses , and ankelets and brought them to Mecca.

8. HAMZA'S BATTLES AND DEATH
- Hamza carried the Prophet's Flag in the war against the Banu Qaynuqa. - Hamza fought in the Battle of Uhud where he was killed by a slave named Wahshi. -While fighting in the battle of uhud, it is said he was in front of the Prophet (SAW) fighting with two swords and shouting "I am Allah's lion".
