2 Over View of SSO Back Ground Requirements
Brokers will maintain the clients and transaction information in their product specific Software Applications like back office (Equity, PMS Application, MF back office application, and F&O etc.) Brokers are having different client user ids for Trading back office Equity/MF/F&O, PMS, DP reports. Also Clients need to login with different sets of Login-ID and Password for his / her different requirements. DION will develop a Single Dash board through ‘Common Client Code (CCC)’ to integrate all the different trading back office, as all Applications have different logic on client code. Requirements To develop system application “Common Client Code (CCC) Management Application”, that shall serve as common platform for maintaining all client related information of Broker. When Client logs in to website through CCC code, it should auto-validate login ids-passwords of all applications linked to CCC, say Back office, PMS application, MF application etc. Basically, once logged in, system should not ask login separately for different products like trading back office, PMS, etc.

3 Common Client Code (CCC)
Common Client Code is a potential initiative which will enable the users to carry only one set of credential (Login ID and password) and can login and operate in all the functional areas of web-portal. Benefits of Common Client Code: Makes it easy for the end users to operate with only one Id and Password for all the asset classes. Makes it easy for Brokers to manage reports and database management. Requirements for Common Client Code establishment: Brokers will have to provide the entire existing client’s login credentials details (One time data) along with the information provided by clients. DION will need the support from all the external service providers for the integration of different modules managed by different vendors. The structure/ characteristics of the common client code is to be decided and provided by Brokers.

5 Key Challenges Creating and maintaining password policy which shall adhere to requirements of all regulatory bodies. Validating / ­By-passing user login credentials (User ID and Password) of all Back office Application when user logs in Web Portal using CCC code. Updating passwords / other credentials in respective Back Offices once CCC password is changed. Generating CCC for all existing clients across all segments an updating the same in CCC application and all respective back offices.

6 How to Generate Common Client Code
To Generate the Common Client Code, Admin will enter the User’s details in “Add CCC” section under Common Client Code tab and Submit it. CCC details of user is now pending for Admin Approval. Click on Common Client Code and Select Pending CCC.

7 Once Submit it will show CCC for particular client is generated.
Continue… A Pop up window will come asking for confirmation once user clicked on Submit. Once Submit it will show CCC for particular client is generated. Once approved by Admin the client’s CCC Code will show in “View CCC Approved” section.

8 Common Client Code - Login
Login credential will be shared to the user via . If the user login for the first time it will prompted to change the password. Once done user can login with CCC and new password.

9 Single Sign On Dashboard
Once user will click on Mutual Fund menu, it will open Mutual Fund trade portal window. The above window will appear after the client successfully logs in with the ‘Common Client Code’ login credentials. This window will contain all the applicable asset classes and user can access any of these asset classes as per their requirement.

10 Single Sign On Dashboard – Update Process
Update link will be provided on dashboard to update those assets classes which are not in Users product account. Click on Update link to update the Mutual Fund Asset class. Once user click on Update link the request will go to Admin to update the particular Assets class.

11 Continue…. Admin approve the request raised by the particular user.
Mutual Fund’s Product Code is updated on Dashboard. User can access to Mutual Fund.

12 User Rights Common Client Code or Checker: This user rights for updating CCC details along with approving rights. Common Client Code or Maker: This user rights for only updating CCC details. This user will not be able to approve CCC.
