According to MSN Polls Almost one in three men said it was “not important at all” to have gender diversity in the workplace, according to a MSN poll for Business Insider. Almost one in four women said the same. About one in five respondents-both men and women said they prefer to work with men, far more expressed a preference for working with women. Two in five men think women are treated “very fairly” in the US workforce. Nearly one in five women said the same.

How are women considered inferior to men in the workforce?
Women that are assertive tend to be considered as aggressive. When women are successful or in a higher position they are less likable. Women are more likely to get lower initial offers than a man in a high position. Women get promoted on performance, and men get promoted on potential. Women are judged more harshly on their appearance. Talkative men who shows anger are seen s strong and competent and the women is seen as too emotional and incompetent.
