1 Can’t Get to the Battlefield to Seize Control of the Air
Can’t Get to the Battlefield to Seize Control of the Air? You Need FIGHTer TOW (FIGHT-TOW) It was common knowledge within the USAF by the 1950s that short-range, fighter-bombers could be in-flight refueled, but moreover could be TOWED to save fuel, extend range and offer only one radar “blip” to fool the enemy….

2 1961 Problem: Cuban Exile Assault Brigade 2506 has no Fighter Planes that can Reach from Nicaragua…let alone fly back... We supply them B-26 Invader light bombers but rear guns had to be removed to save weight for fuel to reach Cuba...

3 1961 Disaster: We all Know What Happened Next--the 2506 Invaders were
not allowed to finish-off Castro’s fast prop-plane SeaFury and T-33 jets on-the- ground--which then proceeded to shoot down the B-26s in-the-air and sink 2 cargo ships damning the invasion to run out of ammo and be forced to surrender...

4 Brigade 2506 Had C-54 and C-46 Transport
Planes that could have TOWED F-86 Sabre Fighters to Cuba...

5 Tail-Wheel C-46 Transports Conducive to Towing

6 BDE 2506 F-86 Sabres Would Rule Skies Over Cuba!

7 Brigade 2506 F-86 Pilots Could Then Land at the Giron’ Air Strip they Captured Earlier... To Refuel, Re-Arm and Keep Air Supremacy
