Denholm Barwil is one of the UK 's leading port and marine service providers. The in
house expertise across the UK allows Denholm Barwil to handle conventional cargo,
container, RORO, PCCs, PCTCs, cruise, military, tanker and cable vessels.
Denholm Barwil handle some vessel calls a year providing a 24/7 service
through 21 offices which serve the UK port infrastructure.
Our experienced and professional staff are capable of ensuring the needs of their
customers are always met. A strict audit process is continually carried out to ensure
quality of service is improved as required.

3. A BRIEF HISTORY
Denholm Barwil Limited (DBL) is a joint venture between Denholm Logistics Limited,
part of the J&J Denholm group of companies, and Barwil Agencies A/S owned by
Wilhelmsen Ships Service.
In June 2004, Barwil Agencies A/S acquired a 40% share in the port and marine
services division of Denholm Logistics and Denholm Barwil Limited was born.
In September 2004, DBL acquired Falmouth Maritime Agencies, G. C. Fox (SW) Ltd
and Fox Shipping.
In December 2006, DBL announced their acquisition of the port agents South Coast
UK from international minerals group Imerys.
In August 2007 DBL acquired the Port Agency business of W. D. Tamlyn & Co. in
Plymouth. W. D. Tamlyn & Co. is a well respected name in the industry synonymous
with quality service.

house capability and by utilising its sister companies within the
J. & J. Denholm group.
The services include, but are not limited to, haulage, warehousing, freight
forwarding, itinerary planning and passenger and baggage management.

9. HUB AGENCY MANAGEMENT
Denholm Barwil has the capability to provide global, continental or national
hub agency services through the highly acclaimed VOSS (Vessel Operations
Support System).
Clients are able to have access to real time information on port calls and
reports and disbursement accounts can be customised to dovetail into the
principal's own templates and systems.
