Field Experience Initiatives Committee presented definition of Practical Experience: “An assignment demonstrating practical application of relevant theory, active participation or reflective observation of students, teachers, faculty/staff members, and/or professionals or other constituents engaging in activities relevant to the candidate's program.”
Specialization Area Teams reviewed Curriculum Crosswalks:
Determined which assessments were practical experiences
Set goals for practical experience assessments
Established timelines and goals for course improvements
