What did you do today?

Why do we observe? Observations help us to get to know children's understanding and level of development in an informal way, when children are usually at their highest level of interaction. Observations help us to build a full picture of children’s knowledge, interests and abilities and provide a base for next steps to learning.
3
Why Tapestry? Many other online learning journeys have been tried and tested within the city. All have come with either security issues or access issues for parents and carers – but not ‘Tapestry’ It is safe, secure and accessible from home and mobile.
4
A whole picture …. Snap shot observations using tapestry.
Individual adult attention. Child’s interests. Carpet Inputs. Small group work.
5
How do I access the observations?
When an observation has been completed you will get an notification. You will then have to log on to your tapestry account to view the observation.
