Why CLAB? Etzkowitz et al. (2000, 2003)
The university must lose its research ivory tower by developing an entrepreneurial university model with a socio-economic development function The green paper “Fostering and measuring third mission in higher educational institution” (2012) identifies a third mission to encourage the direct application and use of knowledge to contribute to the social, cultural, and economic development of the society. The third mission is designed In this direction, the university has four activities to realise TT and innovation: (1) formation of an entrepreneurial culture for students and researchers; (2) the protection of intellectual property and the commercial exploitation of patents; (3) support for ASOs; and (4) collaborations with companies via agreements and projects.

WEAKNESSES OF ASOs no interest in planning activities a logic of improvisation strategic and critical role of working capital management low capacity for self-criticism of the management and / or the individual project modest financial resources Low-development "financial culture“, our ASOs prefer traditional debts. In our sample, short-term bank debt prevails in their financial structure, with more than 75%! Critical position in the market with competitors ……………..

Why CLAB? To promote "cultural metamorphosis" and fertilize an entrepreneurial mind-set To encourage innovation and stimulate real start-ups development. To develop the ability to communicate with different type of financiers (venture capitalists, bank systems, financial market players-According to “Europe 2020 Strategy” March 2013) To help Academic start-ups become real businesses, growing and reducing their rate of bankruptcy. To reduce “Peter Pan” entrepreneurial syndrome To favour the scientist’s DNA integration with the managerial gene. To fuel future managers and entrepreneurs to deal with uncertainty, to assume a long-term perspective, To promote start-ups with a real growth trend and to reinforce a start-up’s “immune system” against economic troubles and to reinforce resilience,
