Registration Information for 2019-2020 Grades 9-11

Registration All current Grade 9, 10, and 11 students should register – even if they are unsure if they will be attending Walter Murray next year Please take care when choosing courses paying special attention to: Levels: Modified, Regular, SAGE (Advanced) Compulsory courses Recommended prerequisites for electives The courses students register in help us to plan for staffing and scheduling for next year – our preference is for students to choose 10!!!

Select courses from the folder options in the Course Calendar menu
Select courses from the folder options in the Course Calendar menu. The course write up will appear in course information.

Once you have found a course you want to add, scroll down in the course information menu until you see Select Choice Type and the Add button. Click Add and you will see the course appear in student choices.

Continue to add classes based on your plan
Continue to add classes based on your plan. If you are unable to add a class, it is most likely because you don’t have the required pre-requisite. Please speak to a student services counsellor if this is the case. When you are finished selecting your courses, you should be able to see them on the timetable screen under choices for next year

New Courses at WMCI Spanish An extension of Spanish 20 designed to build on skills developed in Spanish 10 &20. This course will challenge students to create a variety of written compositions in Spanish. It will also focus on traditional food and celebrations, as well as music, film, art, and literature. Debate 30 –This course will focus on teaching skills in argument construction and deconstruction, research, logic and rhetoric, and persuasive speaking through debate and public speaking activities
