Battle of Guam There was two battles of Guam one in 1941 which was a Japanese victory. Guam was engaged by the Japanese in march of Part of the plan of the Japanese was to take back islands in the pacific. Back to Room 1

Battle of midway was a fought through June 4 to June It was 6 months after the attack on pearl harbor. Japan lost four carriers and on cruiser and 292 aircrafts 2500 people. US lost Yorktown and the destroyer USS Hammann and 145 aircraft and 307 people. Back to Room 1

Battle of wake island was a one day battle on December it was a japan victory. It was fought by air and by ship but the marines played a very important role in this battle but the us was defeated. Back to Room 1

Battle of Britain July 10,1940 to October 31,1940. Britain had finally taken the Skies of Britain after fighting long and hard Germany had destroyed the allied Powers had finally won there skies back. They had taken so many planes out of the sky that the Germans couldn’t replace those that were destroyed. Allied power victory. Back to Room 3

Stalingrad August 23,1942 to February 2,1943 was the turning point in the war against the German forces. It was the largest tank battle in ww2 and there was 700,000 deaths on the German side. It was a very hard battle for Russia to come up and bring such a good fight against them. It was a Russian victory. Back to Room 4

June 22,1941 It was and invasion to Russia to gain land. So they can take the prisoners to work for the war effort on the axis powers. The Russians had regained there land back and beaten the Germans all the way back to Poland and farther. It was a Russian victory. Back to Room 4

November 19-23, 1942 the Germans had invaded Russia and they had not prepared for the winter. The Russians had taken advantage of that and pushed them all the way back towards Stalingrad. It was a Russian victory. Back to Room 4
