Leave lab materials alone until you are told what to do.
Walk with care, don’t run We don’t want to knock over equipment or lab materials.

4. SAFE in the Lab
Use all pieces of equipment for their intended purposes. They are tools not toys.
Do not eat, drink, or sniff anything! Not all lab materials or specimens are food.

5. ORGANIZED in the Lab
Keep all assignments in your science binder, in the proper order.
Write down HW assignments when they are assigned. Copy them into your planner or onto a HW sheet.

6. ORGANIZED in the Lab
Copy the Table of Contents and keep it up to date.
Write all information down neatly (notes, lab data, HW).

7. ACCOUNTABLE in the Lab
Come to class prepared—have all of your supplies.
Complete HW assignments and turn them in on time.

8. ACCOUNTABLE in the Lab Follow lab procedures.
During group work, use a restaurant voice.
If you choose to stand, push your chair in.
Study a little bit every night.

9. RESPECTFUL in the Lab
Treat lab equipment with care. Other students need to use it after you.
When you want to speak, raise your hand and wait to be called upon.

10. RESPECTFUL in the Lab
Use manners with your teachers and classmates (please, thank you, etc.).
Come into class quietly and ready to work.
Worry about your behavior, not the behavior of others.
