Educational or Special Training Requirements
Hair Stylists usually need a high school diploma or GED to apply to cosmetology school and typically graduate in nine months to a year with an associates degree in cosmetology. Most states require hairstylists to be licensed. What you need to do to get a license is you must attend a licensed school and complete the state of Pennsylvania's minimum required training hours. From there, you can get your license by taking the states cosmetology board exam.

Someone Well-Known Oribe Canales is one of the best known hair stylists around. Born in 1956 Cuba he moved to New York and that is where he now does hair in cost around $300- $1400 to get your hair cut there and for a color it costs about $500 his shop has the most celebrities go to his shop.

Reaction I still am interested in doing hair and cosmetology now that I have learned more about this kind of job because I think I would have a nice time doing my job.
