Julius Caesar was a famous general
Julius Caesar was a famous general. He was so popular that he became consul. While he was consul, he made himself dictator for life. Many people did not agree with this since Ancient Rome at the time was a republic. A group led by Brutus assassinated Caesar in the Roman Senate. They did this they say to protect the Roman Republic. They did not succeed since the Roman Republic ended and became an empire.

President Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States
President Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States. John Wilkes Booth was a famous actor who did not like Abraham Lincoln. One thing that Booth did not like was the Lincoln thought African Americans should have many rights. On April 14, 1865, Lincoln was assassinated by Booth at Fords theater. The president died the next day.
