WP2 break down
WP2.1 Intervention forces, coverage, times and existing procedures
Overview about regional intervention forces, their alarm procedures, coverage in terms of reachability of objects within the legal time frames and, if already in place, intervention procedures on particle physics objects.
WP2.2 Draft Intervention procedures
Based on WP 2.1 draft of intervention procedures for incident response taking into account tactical site information such as access, maps, known hazards, supervised areas etc. pp.
WP2.3 Extinguishing systems
Proposal of compensatory measures in terms of fire suppression where WP2.1 and WP2.2 show, that no legal, or efficient intervention, in due time is possible.
WP2.4 Signal failure analysis
Analysis to be carried out by ESS to verify the suitability of fiber optical connections for safety and safety-related systems. CERN's IT studied already the attenuation of fibers due to ionizing radiation, a direct contact can be provided.
WP2.5 Draft report and final discussions
Discussion and interpretation of the current results, wrap-up for final report on the deliverables ESS-DE-1 and ESS-PS-1
