Fox Class News This week the Reception children have enjoyed finding out the job of a Palaeontologist, we even excavated some fossils in Fox Class and recreated some using salt dough. We had some baby dinosaurs locked in the ice and the children had to think of clever ways of releasing them – lots of brilliant ideas! The Nursery children have been enjoying using the water, sand and mud to mix and measure this week, so next week we will be including cooking into our adult led activities to continue with their interests. Our focus in Reception next week will continue with dinosaurs – but we will be exploring the sizes of some of the tallest and smallest dinosaurs. We will see how many of our feet will fit inside a triceratops footprint! We will also be making papier mache dinosaur eggs. I have attached a home learning sheet for all Reception children. Please try and do one of the activities and post onto Tapestry. We will share these with the class on Monday. Have a super weekend Mrs Graham and The Early Years Team . . Diary Dates: Tuesday 22nd May Nursery children – Elmer Day (more information to follow) Friday 25th May Non-Pupil Day Monday 28th May Half Term
