Problem- the struggle the characters face
Solution- the end result of the problem

3. Partner Dialogue
You must create a short dialogue that includes all 5 elements of a scene. Character Action Location Problem Solution The tricky part: it must be three sentences or fewer!

4. Example of partner dialogue
Ex. Partner A: Help, Bernie! I got my high heel stuck in this man hole cover. Partner B: No worries, Abby, I’m a fireman. Character- Bernie & Abby Action- Abby is stuck Location- (implied) on the street Problem- Abby’s high heel is stuck in the man hole cover Solution- Bernie is a firefighter

5. Location practice
Locations can be implied based on our actions and interactions with other actors. Practice: you are going to “walk” around the room in a manner that reflects the location given to you by Mrs. Macomber

6. You need to create a short scene with that location as a setting.
