The primary purpose is to prevent delay in intervention or transfer of critically ill patients Partnership – visit to hospitals in Galway where device was in use; further development of system to integrate with patient care e-systems; training staff of evaluation ward Evaluation – Real time patient observations; improvement in calculation of EWS – 100% error free; accurate time for repeat observations Ongoing – GJ is a reference site for the device; roll-out on a cost only basis
