Save those scoresheets!!!!
Question: What do I do with my copies of the scoresheets once the games are completed, and I have entered the scores? Answer: Save those scoresheets!!!!
123
You will need to submit these at the end of the season for participation in the NIHL-Blackhawks Tournament!
124
NIHL rules state that a player must participate in 60% of the NIHL games to participate in the NIHL-Blackhawks tournament. It is your responsibility to prove that each player is tournament eligible.
125
Therefore, you will need to correctly fill out each scoresheet, and be able to submit the collection.
126
Each manager must fill in the names and jersey numbers of each player on the roster in one of these two boxes
127
Any player missing that game must have his absence “explained” on the scoresheet by one of 3 abbreviations next to his name:
128
“Inj” “Susp” “Abs”
129
“Inj” = The player is injured or sick “Susp” “Abs”
130
“Inj” = The player is injured or sick “Susp” = The player is suspended “Abs”
131
“Inj” = The player is injured or sick “Susp” = The player is suspended “Abs” = The player is not present for any other reason
132
“Inj” “Susp” Counts AGAINST his 60% eligibility “Abs”
133
“Inj” - Does NOT count against his 60% eligibility - some documentation may be required “Susp” Counts AGAINST his 60% eligibility “Abs”
134
A player is eligible to participate in the NIHL-Blackhawks tournament if the number of games in which he was marked either present or “injured” make up at least 60% of the total league games (seeding and regular season games) played by the team.
