Steel needed for war, so Truman gave control of mills to Secretary of Commerce
Supreme Court said the President did not have the power to do this

FBI found it was part of a larger campaign of political spying
Congress told Nixon to turn over taped conversations and he claimed “executive privilege”
Supreme Court said executive privilege was not unlimited
