Organic compound Makes up all life forms, occurs naturally in living things and consist of mainly CARBON and HYDROGEN

Inorganic compound Does NOT contain carbon or hydrogen together and is NOT made from living matter Examples: salt, water, carbon dioxide

Amino acids A special organic molecule used by living organisms to make proteins
