Scheduled for October 22nd No changes to Viewer Back-end features and server-side code for Android Utility pages require valid user login eText 4.5 Targeting end-of-year Updating client to new Flex framework Back-end features S7 enhancement for RUMBA Documentum integration eText of iPad No specific release date; likely Spring/Summer 2012 Reflowable XML client Proof-of-concept work underway 4.4.2 includes: Backend support for Android Performance improvements for full-text search Line breaks in Notes for iPad client Utility pages require valid user login e.g. deeplink utility, get book list, upload icon for LTI link, etc. What is Flex? Flex is application development framework from Adobe used to create stateful UIs. The object model for building UI e.g. buttons, lists, etc. and providing connections to back-end systems. We are upgrading to v4.5 which was released in May 2011.
