4 Likert scale A Likert scale can be used to measure behaviour and (especially) attitude. Comprised of several Likert items; statements that respondents evaluate and respond to – typically by agreeing or disagreeing. Likert scales can be used to effectively measure behaviour and attitude. Especially good for attitude questions because we can use multiple statements to measure different facets of an attitude. Minimises bias as subjectivity of the wording of each question is less influential on overall result.
