3. What are the characteristics of your chosen mediums or forms?
What makes something a poem; what makes something a documentary; what makes something a short story; what makes something a news feature/article, a theatre [piece an monologue a short film, genre conventions, skills and techniques needed to craft etc…
What processes do you go through to create your piece: a character study, research into theme, a setting study, decluttering, crafting, specificity, showing and not telling, adhering to genre conventions, plotting, finding listen-to-me-words?

Discuss in two or threes the characteristics of your chosen piece.
Discuss your theme and the research especially any sources that have helped: books, websites, films, documentaries, radio dramas, poets etc…
