Goals for this week:
Math
We will show numbers less than 120 in standard and expanded form.
I will use base ten blocks to represent numbers to 120.
Reading
We will use strategies when reading middle “vowel teams” and new words.
We will focus on story content when solving hard words.
I will use vowel teams and context clues to help me figure out tricky words.
Writing
We will revise with the intent of making our readers think and feel in a particular way.
I will use time-order transition words so my writing flows and is unified.
Science
We will discuss how changes in the amount of heat can affect objects.
I will investigate and observe changes in heat.
Social Studies
We will We will describe services provided by community leaders.
I will thank a leaders in our community.
Word Work
We will decode words with the vCe  rule.
I will spell words with the  vCe rule.

Reminders
Please help your child remember not to bring toys to school. Our school expectation is that toys stay at home.
Homework: Read every night for 20 mins.
Please remember to go through your child’s binder every night.
