Background Project Priorities are developed annually.
Three Public Workshops over three days (June 13 and 15, 2016). A TPO and Advisory Committee Workshop on July 11, 2016. Comments received from the workshops are listed in the agenda enclosure.

Project Priority Methodology
Alabama Projects. One project each for Capacity and Transportation Alternatives Program. ALDOT allocation is $137,121 per year. Money is for Bicycle/Pedestrian projects. Priorities ranked from a public workshop in Lillian a few years ago. Florida Projects. Capacity projects based on 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan. Completed projects removed from the list, projects scheduled for construction in first three years moved to the committed list.

Project Priority Methodology
Some edits to existing priorities to match Long Range Transportation Plan Descriptions. Non-SIS projects by existing priorities, new box funds end of box fund list by dollar amount and program lists, and new projects end of list by Needs Plan Evaluation Criteria. SIS projects by existing priorities then new projects end of list by existing Non-SIS priorities then by Needs Plan Evaluation Criteria.

Transportation Alternatives Program and Transportation System Management Projects ranked based on TPO approved criteria. Bike/Ped ranked by B/C Ratios in Bike/Ped Plan. Public Transportation Projects (listed by potential grants and furnished by the TPO’s Public Transportation staff in consultation with region’s public transportation providers).

Aviation Projects (furnished by the Pensacola International Airport and Peter Prince Field). Port Projects (furnished by Port of Pensacola). Local Projects (furnished by local governments and TPO’s 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan). Bridge Replacement Projects (TPO’s 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan). Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) projects (furnished by TPO ‘s Air Quality Planner).
