Look closely... 5, 8, 11, ___, 17, 20, 23 The difference between 5 and 8 is three. The difference between 8 and 11 is three. The difference between 17 and 20 is three. The difference between 20 and 23 is three. Maybe the numbers are going up by three each time. Try adding threes. Can you find the missing number now?
