2. PAD Rehabilitation CPT Code: 99976 Reimbursement
After about a Ten Year effort we finally have a CPT code. Unfortunately, there are no dollars attached.
We the REHAB Professionals within the organization of the AACVPR need to rally and go forth with pushing legislation to attach some dollars to this code.
It is not going to happen unless we start to use the code. I have come here today to show you how .
The goal is to use the CPT code get it circulating throughout the country so third party payors will recognize that rehabilitation is a “therapeutic choice” for Claudication and attach dollars to the code.
