2. The Chase Ladies’ Broomball Challenge
Ladies’ it’s time to CHASE the ball and sweep the ice in a fun evening of broomball madness and fellowship. We’ll slide around on the ice, get to know one another and have some fun. If you’ve never played Broomball before come out anyway: it’s a simple game, we’ll explain the rules, provide the equipment and cheer with you. All you need to bring is your smile and your sneakers.
Where: Memorial City Mall Ice Rink: I-10 and Gessner in the Mall
When: Friday evening, August 6
Meet at the rink at 7:30 pm to get equipment and instructions
Play Broomball from 8 to 9 pm
Cost: $13 per person to rent ice rink and equipment
Make Checks Payable to Doris Burton or Pay in Small, Unmarked, Bills
If you want to car pool, we’ll meet at the Cracker Barrel’s Parking Lot facing I-10 (I-10 between Fry and Barker-Cypress) at 6:45 pm and leave for the rink no-later than 7 pm.
This is a Ladies Only event, so leave the husbands at home with the TV, the kids and the dog.
