Conserve ~ “to keep in a safe or sound state, to avoid wasteful...”
Conservatism ~ “tending or disposed to maintain existing views,...”
The disposition to preserve and adhere to existing conditions,
and to oppose change.

“One who is dedicated to the preservation of the gospel of Christ and the doctrines and practices which are found in the Gospel.”
