Priorities for School Planning
Priority 1: All High Schools to a traditional 2-semester calendar. Priority 2: All Middle Schools to a traditional 2- semester calendar. Priority 3: All Elementary Schools to a 180 day 90/30 (i.e., 4-Track) calendar (stay on a traditional calendar if they are already on one). Priority 4: Full Day Kindergarten at all Elementary Schools. 4/18/2019

Phase I 60 Total New Construction Projects Complete 20 New Schools 8 Playground Expansions 19 Additions 12 Early Childhood Centers 1 Environmental Remediation 93 New Construction Projects Under Construction Phase II 52 projects approved by the Board 19 project sites approved by the Board 4/18/2019

Build Traditional School Types: High School: Grades 9-12 Middle School: Grades 6-8 Elementary School: Grades K-5 Recommended: Consider K-8 where applicable based upon local demographic need and community support Alternate Grade Span Types (If there is local demographic need and community supports the potential project) K-12 6-12 K-6 Consider building new facilities for upper Elementary School grades adjacent to Primary Centers 4/18/2019
