Modified step 2 of the down-selected process:
Proposal sponsors announce intention to continue or withdraw 30 days prior to January meeting
Order of presentations of proposals drawn randomly by the TGr chair.
Yes/No/Abstain Voting Member written ballot on proposals after all proposals have been presented
The motion shall be “The TG will eliminate this proposal from further consideration.”
Results of votes are not announced until after all votes are recorded.
For each proposal, if the motion passes by a simple majority the proposal is eliminated

December 18th: have preliminary draft text and presentations available on server.
If there is a merger of proposals after the December 18th deadline, the group empowered the TGr chair to use his discretion to handle the situation.
January 17th: give more extensive presentations (preliminary draft text), with feedback from group; carry out second step in selection procedure
February 12th: Have final draft text and slides available on server.
March 14: give final proposals (final draft text and slides); carry out third step in selection process.
