October 21, 2008 Choose your special place in nature. (lake, backyard, neighborhood park, river, farm, meadow, etc.) Some place you like spending time to enjoy nature. Make a map of this place. Note special experiences and/or thoughts you have had there. Note those experiences on the map (at least five items based on your experiences).

October 22, 2008 Write a paragraph journal entry about your special place from yesterday. Describe your experiences at this place, how they affected you, how they are unique for you, what makes this a special place, etc.
