1 Compensation 2019 Study Purpose: To provide an analysis for pay scales within the Canadian manufacturing & distributors as well as an analysis of employee benefits and sales force information. In partnership with Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating as similar positions and increases sample size. Report will provide information on both executive and employee compensation, including salaries, bonuses, commissions and perks. It also includes details on fringe benefit packages, such as retirement programs, health insurance, vacations and the like. Data included by region based on sufficient sample. Your data will be treated confidentially by the vendor, Profit Planning Group. No staff from CIPH or EFC will have access to individual company data. Participant data will be aggregated in a way that prevents identification of any individual company. Data is required from the most recently completed year.

2 Compensation 2019 Survey The analysis produces results for the following topics. Note that the regional analysis depends on sufficient samples. ● Total Firm ○ Executive Compensation ○ Executive Compensation Detail ○ Employee Benefits ○ Sales Volume Analysis ○ Regional Analysis ● Branches (Distributors only) ○ Employee Compensation ○ Employee Compensation Detail

3 Compensation 2019 Survey Two sectors are analyzed to produce the Canadian Distributors Employee Compensation Report and the Canadian Manufacturers Employee Compensation Report. These reports provide comparative benchmarks based on Canadian companies exclusively. The survey collects information for corporate management and administrative positions and for sales and staff positions at branch offices. Information is also collected for sales and benefits practices at both the corporate and branch office level. Survey Submission EFC distributes survey and to ensure confidentiality, EFC members send surveys directly to Profit Planning Group. Project Cost  $250 per member

Timing Participation Decision- January 11th 03/01/19 First distribution of survey materials by EFC to members 05/10/19 Final deadline for "in the mail" submissions 05/30/19 Both Canadian Employee Compensation Reports released to member in digital format
