Early Prophase Nucleus fades Chromatin condenses into chromosomes
These Chromosomes assemble two chromatids, both with the same genetic information Spindle fibres are also formed
4
Late Prophase The spindle fibres then attach to the Centro meter of the two chromatids, that make up a chromosome.
6
Metaphase The spindle fibres then align the chromosomes on the equator of the cell, by applying tension.
8
Anaphase Spindle fibres shorten
Then they pull sister chromatids apart and they start moving to the opposite sides or poles of the cell
10
Telophase The sister chromatids arrive at the poles
The spindle fibres that pulled them apart start to disappear A nuclear membrane is formed around each set if separated chromosomes
12
Cytokinesis The spindle fibres break down completely
A contractile ring then separates the cell into two new daughter cells
