As you look around the school you may have noticed that different departments have been throwing out old files and furniture.
Display boards are empty and packing boxes are full.

Last week people form the local community had an opportunity to share their memories and wonder around the corridors of the school building one last time.

As the sessions change we can see how the once bright and vibrant leaves on the trees go to ground.
Like the changing of the sessions this school building that was once bright, vibrant and full of life will soon be empty and will go to ground.

I wonder why Christians chose this season of death and decay to celebrate the beginning of something new?

I wonder why as we are sat in a school building that is about to be demolished, that we get the feeling that we are about to have the opportunity to celebrate something new?
