Teaming in 4th This year we will be switching classes for math and reading. My class will be going to Ms. Bierly’s class for math. She will be responsible for grades and report cards for your child. We will be a co-taught class this year with Mrs. Spellar and Mrs. Case.

Classroom Expectations and Lunch Detention
Students are required to follow the classroom & school rules. Positive behavior rewards: whole class: dragon bites, individual: spotted coupons for lottery and rewards. Students are aware of the consequences if they fail to follow the Classroom Expectations: Three strikes, you’re out= Lunch detention Three lunch detentions=Level 3 behavior, sent to office, call home Please sign the parent acknowledgment form

Parent Expectations & Communication
Please look over your child’s agenda and folder daily. Thursday folders will go home as well. Weekly s will be sent on Thursdays with updates. All information will also be posted on my website. Feel free to sign up for volunteer opportunities.

Homework Assignments will be written in your child’s agenda daily. Please sign his/her agenda nightly. Typically, math homework is given on Monday and due on Friday. Students are expected to read 20 min. nightly. Spelling test will typically be given on Fridays- words to be studied all week. Nightly homework is not taken for a grade but is counted towards the learning objectives found on the report card. Homework will increase as we begin the second half of the year.
