z Psalm 22:5-7 5 To you they cried out and were saved; in you they trusted and were not put to shame. 6 But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by everyone, despised by the people. 7 All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads. Isaiah 53:4-5 4 Surely he took up our pain [physical sicknesses] and bore our suffering [emotional sorrows/mental anguishes], yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities [spiritual sins]; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed [all three].

If you are looking for me, then let these men go.” Luke 22:51 But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him. Matthew 26:54, “But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?” 56 “But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.”
