Where is everyone? …NOT necessarily in the office Where is everyone? The good news about technology is that as workers in some cases, are no longer restricted to working from a geographical location. As an employer, we can broaden our search and look at candidates with the right skill set and experience, without necessarily regard for their physical location. Between geographically dispersed teams that work in brick and mortar offices, and remote workers that work completely virtually, its time we get creative with our training delivery options. According to GlobalWorkplaceAnalytics.com 4.3 M in the US alone telecommute at least 50% of the time Fortune 1000 employees around the globe are typically at their desk 50% of the time Many companies have geographically dispersed teams, a group of employees working on one engagement might be spread across the US or even the world. Let’s look at a small training team - The instructional designer might be in one state, the developer in another, the project manager in yet another and perhaps the SME is in another country.
