Use your metacognition!
You will rely heavily on your own metacognition. How do you know when/how to do things? “I just do” doesn’t cut it! Are there prompts in the environment? Is it something you plan in your head? Do you use a reminder system? How many times did you watch someone else do it?

Do involve other adults who see child in the process
Be aware: strategies may fade in effectiveness
From research and experience…
(it must be pulled from students’ guts, so it is internal and not dependent on you as a prompt)
EF skills often don’t generalize without adults in other settings being involved and able to speak the language/coach too
