Equation of a Horizontal Line
y = b . y = b where the line crosses the Y axis For example: if the lines crosses at the point (0,5) then the equation of the horizontal line is y = 5

Equation of a Vertical Line
x = a x = a . where the line crosses the x axis For example: if the lines crosses at the point (-3,0) then the equation of the vertical line is x = -3

Graphing Guidelines Follow the graphing guidelines:
Graph paper Ruler No more then 2 lines per coordinate plane Label y-intercept Show plotted points clearly Axis lines have 2 arrows Graphed lines have 2 arrows and are long Label the line with the equation

HOMEWORK pg # 36 – 55 It says to graph using a table, you may want to use slope-intercept form to go quicker.
