3. THE THREE-RING BINDER 1 ½” binder
Your syllabus should remain in the front of your binder for reference
Using binder dividers, create the following sections:
Chapter Outlines
Homework Handouts
Lab Handouts
It would be a good idea to also keep college-ruled paper in your binder for completing chapter outlines
Remember…this binder is only for BIOLOGY!

The LEFT SIDE “LOVES” student work. This is the side that you can use to show me your creativity. This is the “output” or product side.
The RIGHT SIDE is “RESTRICTED” and contains only information given by Ms. Muck. Nothing else should be placed on the RIGHT SIDE!!

5. LEFT SIDE: YOUR SIDE The LEFT SIDE belongs to you.
It will contain items such as:
Your response to the bellringer
“Word of the Day” (from words most commonly seen on the ACT)
Foldables and booklets

6. RIGHT SIDE: MY SIDE
The RIGHT SIDE belongs to me and should only contain information given or “input” from Ms. Muck. Nothing else should be placed on this page!
The RIGHT SIDE is where you will take notes during class (from PowerPoint lectures, videos, lab demonstrations, etc.)
